Although our fully organised cruises are very popular, some guests would prefer to cruise from place to place and visit the destinations at each port of call that interest them most. So, at a reduced rate compared to our fully organised cruises, you can now cruise with us and pick what you want to go and see! Will it be an afternoon in a riverside inn? Or maybe walk the Shambles of Worcester or Gloucester Quays for some shopping?

Cruise To The Top Of The Severn Navigation
This cruise sails the full length of the navigable inland River Severn, from Gloucester to Stourport on Severn.
The Edward Elgar lowers her flybridge and upper deck to shoot under Worcester Bridge and then squeezes into locks only a few inches wider than her.
At every stop there is a Cathedral, Abbey, museum or place of historic interest. This cruise does not include specific entry fees other than for Sudeley Castle, so you can chose what you want to go and see!

Day One
Gloucester to Upper Lode Lock
- 11.30 am Check-in and park at our purpose-built canalside location "The Boathouse" near Gloucester.
- 12.30 pm Welcome lunch and drinks.
- 1.15 pm Board the Edward Elgar
- 1.30 pm Set sail for Upper Lode Lock
- 6 pm Arrive Upper Lode Lock.

Upper Lode Lock to Worcester
- 8 am Set sail for Worcester
- 12 pm Arrive in Worcester
- 1.30 pm: Explore Worcester! Choose from Worcester Cathedral, Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum, The Commandery Civil War Museum, shopping at the Shambles... there's plenty to see.

Day Three
Worcester to Stourport
- 7.00 am Set sail for Stourport. Deck Quoits en route.
- 12.30 pm Arrive in at the Angel Inn, Stourport on Severn. Explore the Stourport basins and walk the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal. You could also a canalside pub, or walk some of the Severn Way.

Stourport to Upton Upon Severn
- 9.30 am Set sail for Upton upon Severn.
- 1.30 pm Arrive in Upton Upon Severn.
- 2 pm Explore Upton upon Severn. Discover antique shops, book shops, the many pubs, or the Tudor House museum.

Day Five
Upton Upon Severn to Gloucester
- 7.30 am Set sail for Gloucester
- 12.30 pm Arrive Gloucester.
- 1.30 pm Explore Gloucester. Choose from the National Waterways Museum, the Soldiers of Gloucester Musuem, Gloucester's Friday Farmer's Market and Gloucester Cathedral.

Sudeley Castle
- 11.00 am Coach to Sudeley Castle. Buy Lunch at The Castle.
- 4 pm Coach pick-up to return to The Boathouse
- 6.30 pm Final night dinner in the Boathouse paired with English Wine.

Departure Day
- 8-9.30 am Breakfast served in the Boathouse.
- 10.00 am Checkout.
